I have a ROMAK 1 and I've read about a possible radius cut preventing me from adding a pistol grip. Does anyone know how to tell me where to look to see if I have one of these cuts? I want to order a pistol grip kit and need to check first. Thanks.

Is anyone aware of this problem or is this whole thing some sort of rumer? I have looked at the reciever and can't find any out of place cuts but I'm not sure I know what I'm looking for.

I think they are refering to the "radius cut" at the rear of the receiver.

This is where the receiver is reinforced with sideplates to bear the additional stress of the 7.62X54r round.

The problem willl be finding a non-thumbhole stock to fit this receiver.  While it is similar to an AK mechanically, it is not dimensionally.

The ROMAK is a civy version of the PSL rifle, and is a squad sharpshooter's rifle.  The thumbhole stock is not a part added for export, but true to the design of the rifle, much like the thumbhole stock on real Draganovs.http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-10/450304/PSL3.jpg
