Hey Board,

I got mine locally at MGS
http://www.mgsdfw.com/shop/ $9.99

Other places online are
Black Jack Buffers the maker of them:
http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/ $9.86

Red Star arms
http://www.redstararms.com/ $9.99

Cope’s
http://www.copesdist.com/ak47.htm 19.99 for 3 (only in black hardness)

I don’t know shipping for them and there are probably other places that sell em…

I have a SAR1 and have noticed I have had some contact of the rear of the bolt carrier and the rear trunion. I have several other Chinese AKs and have never had this problem. I realize I can get a buffer, but is the recoil on the Romanians weak?

I'd rather fix the problem with a new recoil spring because I feel that is the correct way to fix it, if not, then a buffer.  (PS: My SAR was purchased new by me and has had perhaps 500 rounds through it (the spring is fairly new).

Don't fix what aint broke. If your gun works with out one why add it? I've heard nothing but problems from guys adding buffers to their aks.
