I have not heard any negative reports on any of the boards. Most of the trouble seems to be confined to the WASR-3's.

I have a wasr 2 and 3, both functioned perfect out of the box and had g2 trigger groups. Both now have threaded barrels 14 by 1 left hand with global rpk brakes, plum furniture and east german folders, The wasr 3 functions better than my sar3. I am very happy with both, I guess I got lucky with wasr3.

I think you can still find SAR-2 & 3's on the 4sale boards. That would be your best bet.
Just my 0.02.
