I should know this, but I have either forgotten or never noticed to begin with. I've had my SAR-1 for over a year now, with hundreds of rounds through it and no trigger slap (I did the FCG fix). Now tonight, something struck me as odd: when I pulled the bolt back on an depressed (i.e. non-cocked) hammer, the trigger moved back a lot and then snapped forward once the bolt was all the way back. Is this normal, or should the trigger be stationary when the bolt is manipulated?

Thanks

That site was the first place I looked. Maybe I'm just unobservant, but I didn't see any info that relates to my question (this isn't necessarily a sign of trigger slap, is it?).

Ok, thanks.

Looks like I just wasted another hour of my life taking the FCG apart/putting it back together....
