The second stock down on that link is a Tapco stock. My opinion is that they are not only ugly but are rather flimsy. While they may stand up to the harsh rigors of gunshow commando life, they would be trashed after a couple of trips to the range. The ACE adapter is a quality unit that will stand up to abuse. Myself I find the Romy folders to be the ugliest thing besides the Tapco junk, but the most functional coming and going. |
From ACE's webpage: "Complete folding stock kit as shown above includes AKRBC internal receiver block, FSM folding stock mechanism, and your choice AKFX (length) skeleton stocks." $159 Romy folder - $50. Maybe I'm misreading info on their website, but since ACE's hardware is modular, you need the full kit to start. Price difference is not $50. |
