| Hey guys. I'm thinking of buying a no-ban Wasr2 or Sar-2. I have no clue which to buy and I think you guys would know more about them than I would. I would like to keep the cost under $400 and I don't really care if it comes with wood or plastic. As long as it goes bang I don't care what it looks like and neither will what it's shot at. |
The SAR2 is getting hard to find & the prices have gone up as a result. The average lately is $425 to $450. The WASR2' are being advertised at the $330 area. I haven't seen a real wasr2 yet. I have one on order. The Sar2 is a real sweetheart though. I have 2 of them & they have become my favorites. I'd recommend the Sar if you can find one.

You can find one for what you wan to pay. We just bought a nice SAR2 on one of the auction sites last month for $325. Here, look on the EE..................... SAR2 FS They are fun to shoot! |

I always sent a receiver with mine so all the builder has to do is send it back to me instead of my FFL..A build is going to be more money than say a SAR 2...ohiorapidfire.com does good work..K-var.com has some wood furniture kits in stock.. Oh and anykey the E.German mags work great and are cheap and plentiful... |
