Gents just got me one. I think I like the blond wood on this thing. I like it. It is simple and reliable. I'll shoot it tomorrow. Max |

Dang, Did not have a chance to shoot. Out here in NC, the AKs have been selling like hot cakes. They pretty much dried up the supply of 7.62x39 Wolf Ammo. All they had was the expensive stuff. So instead, I did some yard work and put another WASR10 on lay away. I love the AK. Does anyone here have more than one WASR10? ![]() Max |

Just shot this rifle. Man I am very impressed. Sure the recoil is a bit more than the M4 I brought but overall I am very impressed. I bought some magazines and from JG Sales and they were used. I did not mind but one would not load rounds and stick and another one was missing the mag spring and floor plate. WTF? I notified JG and they said they would send me the mag spring and floor plate. I also put in another order for 10 more mags. I hope I don't get burned again ![]() Overall I am glad to be back into the AK. On a side note another shooter let me shoot his Yugo SKS, but I did not like it. I'll stick to the AK. ![]() max |

Sorry to hear about the magazine problems. I broke all mine down, cleaned and put a very light, barely there, sheen of PB Blaster on the insides. Check for dents and burrs and use the longest spring to check the length of a troublesome one. Don't forget the Range Report. |

Well as for the review, I took it the range and sighted in at 25 yards. I was shooting high, but I had the elevation way too high. Made the adjustment and then it was good to go. Offhand my groups were right at 3-4 inches. In the prone the groups shrunk considerably to 1-2" at 25 yards. The trigger was not bad at all. I will shine up the FCG and then do the fix for the hammer to avoid future trigger slap. I plan on mounting a underfolding stock to this one in the event the AWB dies in Sept. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks Max |
