i need your help guys!

when im shooting my PSL and finish the last round in the mag, shouldnt the bolt lock open?
im sure it did a few times but i could be wrong but every time now it just closes after last shot.

which way is it and whats wrong if its suppose to stay open??

You may be missing the bolt hold open parts. Look in the back of the mag well above the mag latch. If you have the parts it will look like the picture below. If you are missing the parts there will just be the slot. Not unusual to be missing the parts. Mine does not have them.

are you talking about that L shaped part that is spring loaded? if so, i have it on mine.
so if i have it what would be wrong then?

If you have the parts, make sure they move freely and maybe lub them a bit. Could be the magazines, do it work with some mags but not others?

Remove the top cover and carrier so you have a good view and insert an empty mag. Watch how it interacts with the hold open, it should lift. If it does, see if it comes up high enough to catch the carrier.

sorry guys but i had my head up my ass and wasnt thinking!!

i installed a recoil buffer so it doesnt let the bolt come back far enough to lock open.

sorry for the confusion!

Sounds like a good reason to take buffer back out
