| I've got two of these. One has a cut out in the top, giving it a sort of "hooked" look. The other is flat on top, like most reciol spring guides I've seen. Which is correct for my GP WASR 10/63, dated 1968? Thank you. |

If one of them has numbers which match the serial number, that one is correct.
If neither has matching numbers, take this for what it's worth: The two "G" rifles I have here were made in the late '70s and early '80s. Neither has the "ledge" on the top rear of the part of the guide which protrudes through the cover. The WASR I have was made in 2004 (all new parts) and it does have that "ledge". |
