Question is how many stock screw holes are in a Romanian PSL rear trunnion? I ordered a stock set from Iron Wood and they said I have an oddball rear trunnion because it has only one stock hole screw?

There should be 2 but for some reason your missing 1, right there where the recoil spring would sit.

Lack of second screw in the stock says it all ... some have 1, some have 2

I had to check...mine doesn't have the second screw either.

I just had Ken Kubin add the second hole for the IWD butt stock while he did other work on my PSL.

I had the same issue; I wound up drilling and countersinking another hole in the trunnion where the second hole should be.  Also, the stock doesn't drop in; you will probably need to sand it slightly (sides and bottom) and possibly relieve the cutout for the top rear of the receiver to get it to fit.  Lastly, when I did get it to slide into the receiver and I inserted the screw, the bottom pulled away and left a gap between the cutout on the stock and the "crescent" of the receiver; not sure if my trunnion was cocked or if the cutout for the trunnion tab was out of kilter.  It wasn't horrible and I was tired of messing with it so I left it; YMMV.

EDIT - I built the rifle from a kit Centerfire Systems kit using their Romanian receiver.  Not trying to knock Ironwood as I still like the way it turned out.  Could just be my build.
