I picked up a PSL about a year ago and it hasn't done much but collect dust since then (I'm an AR guy).
I've seen a couple on here with the barrel cut down to a much shorter length. My first question is, where is the best place to have this done? How short can it be cut down? My next question is, is there any way to modify the receiver to accept an underfolder type stock? II feel like these two mods might make me think twice about grabbing it next time i go shoot. Thanks in advance. |

Only way you could mount an underfolder was if you built the PSL on one of the new NDS square-back receivers. Regardless the recoil through the steel underfolder stock would be brutal, but you could mount one of those Russian recoil pads asthey are made to slide onto the underfolder stock also.

You can mod a romanian side folder fairly easy. Look for my thread. It works superbly. Pics do not do it justice.
