Is it possible to add dimples to the receiver of a GP WASR 10/63? Just curious if someone with a press could do this to eliminate the mag wobble. If not, I guess I could stick to my tapco mags.

First, "dimples" do not control lateral play of the magazine ("mag wobble").
Second, there is no way to practical way to stamp "dimples" in an existing receiver that has been hardened.
Third, lateral play of the magazine is inherent in the design and is not a problem unless: 1. It causes feeding malfunctions (which is extremely rare); or 2. One has read far too many gunboard posts about mag wobble (which is extremely common).

mag wobble is not a problem.  It still shoots and feeds reliably,

However as it ain't broke, you can still fix it by attaching (JB weld) a penny to the interor of the mag well as a shim.  It will control the wobble, but inserting mags will not be as easy, not all mags wil lfit, and when penny eventually falls off, it will either get lost, or jam your gun.

Tight mag wells do not facilitate easy magazine changes.  If it is not causing a feed issue then consider it "good".

The angle you insert the mag will become less critical on a weapon that is fairly critical, and does not come with a tactile reference point for inserting the magazine.
(Such as an AR 15.  Where the magazine well protrudes from an easy place - and you just push.)   With an AK you have to find the hole which is on a flat surface and hook the front lug, and then rock it back into place.   The tighter this is the more difficult this becomes and the less magazines will work with your weapon without modifications.

If it's flopping all over the place and DOES cause issues you could have someone spot weld a small piece of flat metal in the sides to help shim it up.
But I would be cautious in doing that unless it really is necessary.

Sloppy is good.  Tight is slow.

AK's reload slow enough as it is...

It would be cheaper to just trade your WASR in on another one.  Chk for for mag wobbleness and don't let the gun shop take adavantage of you.  Set an acceptable loss in your mind and proceed.
