Is the accuracy with a PSL hit or miss?
From my understanding this is a 2 MOA rifle. Is there any truth to this? |

1.5 to 2 MOA, you got that about right. Some get better, some get worse...depends on how good a shot you are. This rifle is not, nor was it ever designed to be a precision target rifle. It's a Designated Marksman Rifle...good out to like 600 yards on a man sized target.
Personally, I love mine, and shoot it all the time. I also, don't ask it to do something it's not capable of doing. |

| It is relatively ammo dependent, but these rifles are capable of very good accuracy for a semi-auto even with some surplus ammo. Surplus wise, mine is very accurate with the 1980's produced Bulgarian light ball (sub 2MOA!), so if you want to see if your rifle shoot well with surplus I'd try that, some silver tipped Russian light ball, or the later produced non-silver tipped russian light ball. The Bulgarian stuff I've heard a lot of good reports from and the Russian stuff is known to be very consistent for surplus ammo. For anyone with a PSL searching for an accurate and inexpensive 'factory' load for thier rifle, there is where I'd start. |
