APEX Gun Parts is selling PSL-54C magazines for $12.00 each. I recently got 2 to check them out and they were good to go with just a little, easy to clean up, rust on them. Most of what has been reported as "rust" is actually gooey gloppy orange cosmoline that just needs a wipe to clean up. I liked them enough that I ordered 4 more, which arrived today and they were in even better shape than the pair I got last week.
There is no way I can guarantee that they are all in this good a shape, but for 1/2 price, I'd say it's worth a shot if you need more magazines. No, I don't work for APEX, nor do I stand to make any money on this, just a heads up for the PSL owners here. |

Most of what has been reported as "rust" is actually gooey gloppy orange cosmoline Somewhere in Romania is a fountain that spews forth hundreds of gallons of preservative (known in the US as cosmoline) each hour. In order to keep the population of the country from drowning in it, the government requires that every gun, and every gun part, that is exported must be covered in a ridiculously thick coating of the stuff. |

Ordered three of the Apex "rusty" mags.
One has some substantial pitting on the outside of the feed lip on one side, other side is fine. The other two have only one or two very small patches of rust on the body. At first glance they look brand new. For the price, it's the best deal going, as I've read of others paying $85 + for four mags... and get three rusty ones anyway! |
