I have a new WASR 10.  I'm trying to adjust the front sight post, but it won't move. The rifle came with a small metal tool to turn the front post, but even with the tool, I can twist harder and harder...until the tool bends...and then eventually slips off.  Even with pliers I cannot get the front sight post to budge.  Any advice?

P.S.  It's a Century Arms WASR-10.

Clean the threads in the hole as best you can first.
Check to make sure the post hasn't been staked in position.
Then use your favorite brand of penetrating oil for a couple of days.

When you look down from the top of the post, is it all the way to one side? If it is it might be wedged against the side of the opening.
It shouldn't take much force to turn the sight post, usually it's hard to move it sideways.
