Does anyone know the translation for the words on the PSL scope? They are Stinga, Dreapta, Sus, and Soc.

Up, down, left, & right.

Which is which, I don't yet know. My wife is Russian and I'm getting to her to look at it and translate for me later today (she's sleeping right now, where I ought to be). I'll post her reply here, then.

Thats what I figured. I typed all the words into both Russian and Romanian online dictionary's and had no luck. Will be nice to know what means what. Thanks for the quick response.

OK, my scope is apparently written in Romanian & my wife doesn't read Romanian. I did find the manual for the POSP scopes, in english, from the Kalinka Optics web site and this is what I found:

On pg 13 in describing how to center and zero the scope, it says that turning the elevation knob clockwise moves the reticle down.

On pg 14 in describing how to center and zero the scope, it says that turning the windage knob clockwise moves the reticle to the left .

Here is the url for the POSP Fixed Magnification Rifle Scope Manual .PDF file.

I also found info on the LPS 4x6 TIP2 scopes Here.

Stinga is LEFT

Dreapta is RIGHT

Sus is UP

Jos (or "Soc"––-are you sure it is soc??) is DOWN

let me know if you need any other translations.

But "up" "down" "left" and "right" refers to the movement of the reticule, not the point of impact.  So if your shooting high, you need to use the 'up" direction,. etc.
