Supposing that I have the parts count to continue having a legal SAR1, would THIS fit on my rifle?

I have one of those that I picked up in a trade.  It was modified (ground down) to fit a narrower Chinese AK receiver.  It drops right onto the SAR-1 I used to own.  I had to modify it slightly to fit a Saiga-20.  I have the plastic plugs on the Saiga which blocked the stock, but I notched it and it fits well.  It is now sitting in my spare box waiting for the next project.

The main reason that I hold on to it is that it will work with the Krebs & DPH Arms scope mount with the rear sight.  I am waiting to see the finished DPH Arms version before I decide which way to go.  Either way, I will pick one up and do my version of a practical AK.

If you have a stock configuration SAR-1, this would replace the rear foreign made stock without messing with the parts count.  The SAR-1 comes with 5 US parts: pistol grip, fire control group and gas piston.  So changing out the rear stock doesn't affect the parts count.  Of course, if you have changed it around, that is a different story.
