I really like the look of the stock on my AES10B, but would love to add a couple inches to it. I was thinking about putting a rubber stock extender on it, but don't know where I can find one that would work for the stock. Anyone know a place to buy them? Is there another route that would add an inch or two/help against recoil I can take other then replacing the stock?

If that doesn't work, you might contact Ironwood Designs about making a NATO length (2 inch longer) RPK stock set. I have a feeling a lot of people might be interested in such a set.

I'll have to see about that

Being as tall as I am, I can't quite get that comfortable fit against my shoulder. Figure an inch or two might help out a bit.

I'm having the same issue.
Does anybody know if a different type of AK wood stock work as a replacement on the AES-10B?

The trunnion is compatible with any stamped AK stock. You will find however the original stock to be extremely tight-fitting and difficult to remove if you decide to try and change it.

Also, look at the ACE stock set-up. I know the receiver block will work, although it is a VERY TIGHT fit. Definately helps to have a small sledge hammer. From that point you can add one of their stocks which will give you the extra length you need. I'm working on a paratrooper style with the ACE receiver block, folding mechanism, and the original RPK stock. This will give me a little over 2".
