Hey guys, I know that I have heard of people using M60 spare barrel cases as perfect matches for their underfolding ak's. I also recall seeing a picture before, but I cant seem to locate them. I was wondering if anyone would know if a Romy G Kit with the original wooden pistol grip and a side folding "crutch" stock would fit in one of these M60 barrel cases without touching the zipper and scratching the finish on the wood. | It will fit. The m60 barrel bags have zero padding in them, if you are concerned about dings and scratches, you may want to purchase a padded gun case instead. The G kits have a bakelite pistol grip (if/untill you swap it out for a US made grip) that does not damage as easily as wood. |

Thanks for the input guys! I gave it a little more thought, and I think I'm going to stick w/ a case that will breath more than the barrel cases. I'm not inclined to having a case that will retain moisture once its in the case. I just wish it was easy to find a romanian drop case. I've only seen one picture. I just like to have the field accessories, but you just gotta let some things go. Thanks |
