It happens. I was out of work for a few months, bills piling up. Sold one of my ARs and my Beretta before I said enough was enough, broke down, and borrowed some cash from friends. It's ok though. I didn't like that particular AR (Bushy carbon-15) and while I did really like the beretta, I already had my .40 for sale and so now am consolidated on must .45 for handguns. |
Drill or A.T.? There is no "paperwork" for Drill, all electronic. Likewise with A.T., in that it is scanned and emailed to your State's USPFO for processing through DFAS. Again, an electronic transaction. I'm betting your Readiness NCO told you "The paperwork was lost at DFAS". |

fuda-- It could really speed things along if you were to call or write your U.S. Representative's office; this is exactly the type of situation that they love to jump on for their constituents. It will also "flag" your file so that this situation will be less likely to occur in the future. Also he might be able to speed-up your appointment at Walter Reed. I know that some think it's trite to say, but, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. |
