Hey guys...while waiting for my ROMAK II to arrive I am trying to piece together all the parts I need/want to put a stock, pg, etc. on there. I was planning on threading the muzzle and putting a real '74 brake on there. Not the paper weight USA made ones that don't have the cut inside. Soooooo in my quest to seek out the right threading kit and which threads I should use I have to ask if anyone has the OD for a ROMAK II barrel on the muzzle end. I was thinking of doing 1/2X28 but am not sure yet. The only pic of the muzzle end I have at this time is this pic below and the seller said it is not threaded, and does not have a muzzle nut on it. Also it appears a lil longer than normal.

Scratch anything I just asked. Just ordered a 22mm FSB and I'm just gonna put that on and bump the FSB more towards the muzzle for the correct length and then re-drill the holes in the barrel and put in some pins. Now I just need to get ahold of hotbarrel over on gunco and see if he'll make me a 22mm brake. AKUSA has the 22mm brakes but they're very pricey. |
