I just picked up my first AK,and I love it.I have fired a crapload of variants,but never had my very own.Needless to say I have been researching it trying to learn everything I can. It is marked "AK47S 7.62x39MM" and "MADE IN CHINA" below that. No BBL markings or stamped importer rollmark on the reciever.I was reading about SN's,and I read as long as it doesn't start with a 90,91,92 or something..Mine starts with 87.Does this indicate date of manufacture ? The bayo numbers match the last 4 of the rifle..Fires excellent and I'm really happy with it. Can anyone tell me anything else ? ETA: Try not to notice my bunny foo foo boots,it gets cold here in MA
