Ok, I have previously bought and now sold a Century-build Yugo. It had the canted front sight block and I'm not even sure the gas block was installed straight. So buying another Yugo from Century is out. I am looking at a Polish build, using a nodakspud reciever. This is from Hammerstone Arsenal. Lastly is finding a Norinco underfolder, but typically these are are least 50% higher in cost or more to similiar US builds. I need some feedback, pro and con about the US build v the Norinco. This will be stay in my personal collection and will not be re-sold, unlike the Century. Thanks.

You wouldnt have posted here if a part of you wasnt leaning towards a Chinese.
Priceness gets to be a factor when you talk about the preban, but also the most
return on a resale. I almost got a nice sporter the other day for 279.00

There are deals! So I wouldnt rush into an impulse purchase. I waited long and scouted all makes with an extra focus on a preban Chinese. Well I found this for 700.00 and it came with a Chinese stock set. I have 7 AKs now and the AKS 762 is one of the best built AKs I have. Lok and then look. You'll know the right deal when it comes. The only other AK Id steer you towards would be a Yugo. I built a M95A and it is pure sweetness
