[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Spring loaded firing pin, weak point?

I've been looking but I couldn't find a definite answer, I have heard claims that spring loaded firing pins have a tendency to break. So should I buy extras for mine? Or possibly swap to a floating one? Can I swap to a floating pin? and if so what style can I use?

DK if it is a weak point or not, but I have 2 that are NIW with springs if you are interested. I do know that you cannot swap one that doesn't have a spring for one that does w/o swapping the bolt.

thanks, i should've just emailed and asked you. a few friends and i just bumped 600 rounds through it almost nonstop so i'm not worried about it. have you ever broken one?
