Try www.riflestocks.com/ or for a less expensive option (plastic) www.tapco.com. I've seen some Euro wire style folders fitted to Norinco AK's but I'm not sure how much fitting is involved.

I just received and fitted a Romy folder to my MAK (folder fixed open, of course). Took all of about 5 minuted of filing to get the mechanism to fit into the receiver snug enough that I had to smack it on the floor a couple times to get it to fit.

On a side note, the tang on the rear trunnion on Chi-Com AK's must be a little longer than on Euro AK's. The mechanism sticks out of the receiver about 1/8 inch when the rear screw is installed properly. Not a big deal for me, looks fine unless you're really looking for it.

Any folding stock that fits a regular chinese AK-47 with a stamped receiver should work.  I put a regular chinese military surplus wood pistol grip stock set on mine years ago.  The only thing that I had to change was the pistol grip screw, It needed to be longer.  You can check with numerich arms they might still have some stuff available.

Here's a pic of a MAK-90 with the Romy folder and a Tapco SAW pistol grip installed. Mine looks pretty much the same but mine has a bare muzzle and my handguards are painted with bedliner paint. When I get time, I may strip the handguards and tung oil them. That's what I did to my SAR-1 and I really like the finish. Pic taked from Frank Bachman's website, www.frankbachman.com.

The stock isn't as uncomfortable as it looks. It seems to be about the same length as a standard Warsaw Pact buttstock, which works for me. The cheekweld isn't the greatest, I'm gonna try some foam pipe insulation on it when I find the small stuff, that should help. The stock seems to be as rugged as the AK itself, meaning it should make a good bludgeon if you're out of ammo! The balance of the rifle changes a little, making it a little more muzzle-heavy, or so it seems to me. It's not too bad, though. I just can't wait till Sept when I can make it fold! Hope this helps.

Edited to add: I don't know why the pic isn't opening, must be a problem with www.frankbachman.com. If you go there and look under "Hobbies" then "MAK-90", you can see the pics. Sorry about that.

OK, here's another pic I found. The AK isn't Chi-Com, in fact it appears to be 5.56. You should get the idea, however.

Edited to add: I give up. None of the pics I've found will post. I dunno what the problem is. Go here. www.frankbachman.com. Go to the "hobbies" section and look around for the section titles "MAK-90". It'll have pics of his MAK with the Romanian folder on it. Hope this helps.
