Anyone tried to improve the trigger on thier Mak 90, any advice?

The first thing I did to mine was to polish the trigger/hammer mating surfaces.  It doesn't take much, just a little polishing.  That won't do anything to help the really long pull though.  You could also just go and get the Red Star Arms fully adjustable trigger set.  A good predictable trigger should give a substantial increase in your accuracy.

I polished my HTS using the instructions on ak47.net while i was doing a mod to the sear to eliminate slap.  My trigger is 4.5 lbs with no grit and a long takeup and a surprise break.

I improved mine by replacing it with a RSA FCG. It's great now!!

Anyone need an extra Norinco FCG??
