I have a Norinco MAK 90 that I bought right after the ban and it's been sitting in the safe ever since, fired maybe 40 rounds through it when I first got it. I've always hated the look of the thumb hole stock and I'm thinking about putting a new stock set and FCG in it to make it 922r compliant. However I've got a question about the FCG.

I've found single and double hook triggers for the AK-47. My MAK 90 has two hooks that catch the hammer. Would a single hook trigger work on my rifle? Is there an advantage to either?

I appreciate any info/advise you can give an AK novice..

If you have a 2 hook, swap in the same. I ran a tapco g2, double hook, in my mak90. Fairly smooth pull and functions fine.

Single hook can work too, but I don't see it as an advantage.
