Hello all! I am very new to the AK game and bought a Norinco Sporter the other day. Didn't mind the thumbhole stock until shooting it a little bit yesterday....it's just too bulky for my liking. Broke the stock down last night and learned I have a slant cut receiver, that's my luck So, I'm aware my options aren't many and I am aware of 922r. That being said, are there other options regarding the stock other than ironwooddesigns.com and the guy from Finland on ebay (who has nothing at the time btw). I found this skeleton stock on gunbroker.comstock, but not sure how it would work with the slant cut. I love this gun already and want to make it right, just dont want to spend a fortune in the process. THANKS FOR ANY HELP! Pete

922r is if you are building a rifle. your rifle is built pre 1994 ban post 1989 import ban. 922r is not applied to you.

Black-Tiger, thanks for the help. I know about ironwood, wanted to know if there other options and if the skeleton stock I linked would be an option. Thanks again buddy

I'm aware of 922r, just thought I'd mention it so I wouldn't get a legal run down from everybody, as I'm really interested in the stock. I'm not going to go through all the parts changing anyway.... Any other suggestions other than iron wood designs???

Stamped Receiver. Will this stock work at all? Function wise and cosmetic wise I'm wondering

It is missing part that would attach to rifle.
