I have a MAK-90 that is missing the sling loop on the gas block. I have searched every supplier I can think of and can't seem to locate one. Do any of you have a source for this? Thanks for any info. |

Quoted:
CDNN sells Chinese AK and SKS slings cheap and they of course come with the proper leather loops. That really won't help the OP's problem. It's not a sling issue, but rather a gas block issue. Replacing that is going to be difficult, at any rate. If you can find one, you'll have to remove the gas block, put the sling clip into it, then put the gas block back on. Or, you can simply weld a metal loop on it. Looks like PolytechParts is out but giving them a shout might be productive. Otherwise, keep looking on Gunbroker. I'm going to the SAR show and know a fellow that keeps a nice stock on Chinese AK parts. I'm sure he has one - I can give you a shout closer time to the show and see if you'll still need that piece. |

I will give polytech parts a call. I have a tendency to forget that online inventory is not always accurate. Its weird to me that it is missing anyway. The gun appears to have never been fired or had the FSB or GB removed. I guess it just got missed in assembly. Thanks for the help guys. |
