So my pocket book finally gave birth to an AK. Got a real good price from a fellow ARFCOMer.
My main question is that it is a Century Arms AMD. I believe built on a Nodak receiver. Are these actually Hungarian? Or some build from Century? The fit is superb, amazingly so being a Century build. And the finish is not to shabby. Anything I should know about these Century AMDs? Known issues or anything? |

Congrats on the new AK!
I've got the same rifle but mine was built by TGI. If it's a Nodak receiver I THINK it will say so on the bottom in front of the mag well. The CAI may be different, you'll have to inspect it to see. My rifle was built on a Hungarian parts kit with matching numbers and the original chrome-lined barrel. It's been a good shooter for me especially after I installed a Bushnell TRS25 on a Ultimak rail. Things are SLOW in this forum as the inventory of AMD-65 rifles is gone! Don't take it personally. |

Nothing taken personal :-) I did some research on the company that is rollmarked, forget the name, but it is a Nodak receiver. I'm happy with it regardless. Just waiting for mags to come down. Got a list of light mods I want to do already :-)
Matching grip and foregrip (currently wood and magpul OD) Krebs safety One of them tactical mag releases AMD Tech welded cheek riser stock Sling mount from Echo Nine Three Any other recommendations? |

I've got the Echo 93, Ithin it's a version 5 made for the AMD. Just recently installed it and haven't used it much thus far, but it sure seems solid.
Other than that my only mods have been the Ultimak and the TRS25 sight. My only addition to your list would be to get a tennis racket case to put your AMD in! |
