Can you guys tell me what trigger came stock in the AMD-65 and what a good upgrade would be.

Just my .02 but the Tapco tigger that comes in the AMD's is very nice. Light trigger pull and very crisp.

Tapco G2, with polishing on the key surfaces, is the best available in my opinon.
Tapco got this right.

My AK Parts Kit came with the TAPCO FCG.

But I've been hearing for a good while now, both from personal friends and On-Line, that Tapco FCGs have "issues" such as Trigger Slap and other malfunctions; ; and that often you have to polish the mating surfaces in order for the Tapcos to function correctly....

I figured: "Screw That..!"

For my ZOMBAT build, I wanted the Best US -Made FCG for the money

So I shelved that G2 trigger and got a Texas AK Triggers Dpuble Hook FCG.

Much better made, NO Polishing needed. - About $45, shipping included.
