| I want to put a sling on my amd, but can't find the rear loop on the receiver. Am I not looking in the wrong spot? |

You'll need to drill/cut a slot for the sling swivel tabs, which will go through and spread out on the inside of the receiver. This will firmly hold the swivel in place. There is a website referred to as "Pookie's" which gives a detailed diagram with all the measurements needed. I used a drill bit to make three holes spaning the width/length of the slot, then a cutting disk on the Dremel to cut the remaining metal off, making it a rectangular shape. Next, I used a file to smooth the sides and then blued the cuts. Finally, after placing the swivel tabs in the slot and spreading the tabs out on the inside of the receiver, I touched up the rough spots. You can get E. German or Bulgarian swivels from KVAR.

Was this a home build? They are on the left rear of the receiver, can't miss it. It's an FEG receiver. Still could be a home built, I think it was CFS that was selling FEG receivers at one time. But looking at the pic above, your receiver should at least have a slot in the location the sling swivel is. |
| It must be an FEG SA200M receiver as used by TGI. These did not originally have the slot for the loop. If the kit they used with the receiver in question did not come with the sling loop, they did not bother to install one. I just drilled my receiver and installed a 1" loop with a machine srew and nut, Loctited. |

I'm a bit confused. |
