| I have been fighting with the mags thinking they are defective but I finally read about this rifle. How good of an AK is this rifle? How easy is it to convert for HI CAP mags? Everytime you try to chamber a cartrige the tip of the bullet hits before entering the chamber. This gets frustrating I'm thinking about selling it If I cant convert it. i just want to be able to throw whatever mag is available in it and work. |
| That is a typical magazine problem. Most likely if the double-stack conversion is done, you will have better luck with conventional double-stack mags. I would not try it myself. It's not rocket science, but it has to be right. Tennessee Guns Inc (TGI) has done hundreds of SA2000M receivers for AMD-65 kits - perhaps they would do yours, since they obviously have the tools, pattern and experience. |
