Hello All.

Looking in to buy an under folder, it has to be PreBan, thank to Massachusetts.
Narrow it down to Hungarian SA 85 imported by Kassnar.
Just out of curiosity. How much were there brand new back in late 80’s?

Also is there a difference between SA 85 and SA 85M?

A month before the ban I believe the wholesale price was either $165 nor $185.

I don't know about the Hungarian SA-85M, but the cheapest I ever saw any pre-ban AK was the Chinese Norinco Type 56S at $257, and that was dealer pricing in early 1989. The Chinese were the cheapest of the pre-ban AKs, and Norincos were the cheapest of the cheap.
