Anybody got any information on these?  I notice Arsenal's website says "coming soon."  Thanks in advance.

Latest word is that Arsenal will not be making them.  They have not updated the website to relect this.

Won't be made is what I've gathered.

Arsenal seems to be producing the exact opposite of what AK lovers really want.  I  don't understand this rationale or sales tactic.  I've pretty much given up on them....for now, anyway!

+1 on that. I know that availability of parts sometimes comes into play, but they don't seem to listen to what their customers too much.

A year ago everybody wanted a 223 stamped AK(completely unavailable at the time, everywhere now), they listen.

The 108 was supposed to come out two years ago.  Heavy interest in that.  Where's it at?  No.  They don't listen.

Yeah, it's a mystery.  The SLR-108 would, by far, be their top selling rifle.  Most of their rifles are produced in smaller numbers (batches).  I don't know that they could even keep up with the demand if they introduced it.  They also said they weren't going to make a 7.62x39 Krink (SLR-107U) model, Dealers will have them in less than two weeks.  So, now we really don't know what they are going to do, or if no means yes or in a little while or definately or just plain no.  I guess in a way it's smart on their part, keeps us checking their website. Besides, if they announced they were making the 108 they'd be hounded by calls every minute of every day until it came out.  Oh well, go figure.....

Don't give up hope yet.  People have contacted them on a variety of new releases, and they seem to--er--um--lie a lot.  One caller was told there would not be any Krinks coming out; well, guess what--they just released one.

I don't have any inside information, but treat "answers" from them with a grain of salt.

It would make sense, in that they say they are not building a certain model, which causes a consumer with money to buy another of their models instead.  Then release the model they say that they aren't building.  Works only if you bought the first model.  And if you bought the first model, you'll get the second model.

Note the website lists the 108 as imported. I believe regulatory circumstances have changed since it was posted as such, which may have something to do with it's delay or cancellation. I would just like to know either way.
