I just picked up another (I already have 1 and the 1st is great..) SLR106FR..well get it home and low and behold..the damn thing won't hold and lock a 30 round mag!!! I tried 5 different clear .223 waffle 30 round mags and none of the magazines lock in place..the stupid 5 round supplied mag locks in..but can't get a clear 30 rounder to work..they all work in both a M-5 and the other SLR106FR.. This rifles serial is in the low 2000's..anyone else had similar problems.. As many Arsenal rifles as I have I hate to see this..especially from a high end AK.. Greg |

Just a follow up... The rifle apparently has some issues with the mag well clearance..and quite possibly the receiver stiffening bar/pin (goes across receiver) I took it back to the dealer and we tried a bunch of mags..both clear and black.. The dealer really helped me out though and swapped (legally of course..with new paperwork) out another SLR106FR for the defective one..2 thumbs up to them In the future I'll definitly check out clearance BEFORE buying..but in this case I've owned so many Arsenal rifles just didn't think of it.. All is good now though |
