When is Arsenal going to come out with a stamped line in .223???
I heard they were going to come out in 06, but I only see the same old same old from Arsenal, nothing new! I would dig an AK-74 (SLR-105) but ammo is an issue.

That would be a smart move if they did come out with a stamped 5.56 rifle. The .223 AK's really seem to be "in" now with the 7.62 and 5.45 ammo shortage.

Got that right!  I own 4 AK's and they are all in .223 (VEPRk, SA M5, AK102, and .223 Krink).  I will never own anything in 5.45 as the ammo is completely watered down and 7.62 isn't much better.  With .223, I can shoot all the really good loads like 77gr, 75 gr, M193, M855, etc.

That would be just the thing for my DDR bring-back StG stock set and scope.

I want something like this:
A Bulgarian .223 with a triangle folding stock, of course with all the non ban stuff! Not to forget a side rail.
If possible for an extra $50 they could add a safety that can be operated from the pistol grip just like the galil!!!
I would pay $700 for that no problem.

I already own an SLR-101 and I'm very happy with it. Top notch AK!

Ya gotta believe Arsenal will do something along the lines of above.  I asked them at the SHOT show if they bothered to monitor websites for market trends and was told with a wry smile "yes".  So.....

I'm waiting on them to come out with a stamped receiver 223Rem AK too.  Machined receivers are just too heavy.  I like my Galil, but would like it even better if the receiver was stamped.

Arsenal has stopped all 5.56 export rifle sales- they keeping these for themselves and surplusing out the 7.62 and 5.45 to the Americans who will buy anything. Basically the com block countries are all going to 5.56 now.
