| Do you have any ballpark figures/idea for the cost of the new Arsenal stamped 5.56 rifles? Any other 411 about them? I am gonna get at least one more AK, and I think this one might be the one I want |

I was really hoping that they would be available before the end of summer, but that's not going to happen. When I last talked with the president of Arsenal, he told me it's still one of the things they're going to do their best to get done before the end of the year. While the whole Form 6 fiasco doesn't effect these rifles directly, it does effect Arsenal in that they are having to devote more resources to dealing with that than building rifles. Add to this that they are bringing new fire control systems out for the stamped guns, and the Bulgarians are having a very hard time meeting the demands on their capacity for foreign military commitments. So.........yes, they should (hopefully) be out before the end of the year. Pricing should be about the same as the SLR-105A1 and A1R series, which is less than $600.00. Notice I said should. There are all kinds of factors that could increase that price. Among those is transportation from Bulgaria to the US for the host rifles. |
