I have a Bulgarian AK-74 built on a NDS receiver. The lock up on the side folding stock is very light. Two light taps on the the stock and it will fold, it will also fold while firing. Can you adjust the spring tension or buy an oversized latch to correct the lock up?

It was a simple fix, the builder put the pin between spring coils rather than making sure the spring was all the way over. I got spring moved, a royal pain in the ass by the way, and now it locks up tight.

Putting the pin between coils would lighten the springs effect on the latch, not make it stiffer. So that's odd that it would work on your rifle.
