Hi all,

Is there a difference between the AK47 and AK74 trigger parts? I am building an AK74. I picked up the K-VAR AK-922DS trigger kit for my build from a friend. He was not sure if it will work for the AK74 or not. if not i will take it back. The kit includes the trigger, hammer and disconnector. Im using a bulgarian fixed stock parts kit for the build.

AKM and AK-74 FCGs are interchangeable. The only thing to watch out for is double hook or single hook trigger. If your receiver is cut for single hook and you buy a double hook then you are going to need to mod the receiver or trigger.
