Is it possible to make a 22 conversion for the AK74 similar to the CMMG/Ceiner set up? Has anyone tried. Second could a 22 AK piston/carrier be adapted to this use ?

I'm not sure, never had hands on a 22 AK. I do know they made one for the 7.62x39 AK's, but they are few and far between IIRC, maybe it's just my lack of interest.
