Hi All
A few years ago I picked up an Arsenal SaA M-7 at a gun show.  I didn't have to pay too much for it.  It is the milled receiver and black plastic furniture.  I think it is a"ban" era gun.  My question concerns it's value.  Checking Gunbroker seems to result in prices that are all over the place or there are several different configurations.  Could someone give me an idea of what this thing might be worth these days?  It is in almost new condition.  Thanks folks.

Ok first as you stated there are many configurations so we need a little more info or pictures of it and the model #Like I have a Arsenal of Neveda SAM-7S ban model.  Pics will help. Once you determine the model then search and see what it sells at. and set it at what you think is fair.

Those were a great AK.

I brought one just like it during the ban for $650, which was alot during an era when you could get a stamped Romanian AK for under $300.    Same style flash hider, etc... Though it was legally considered a muzzle break, it did a very good job of flash suppression as well.

Mine came over from Bulgaria as a single stack with a thumbhole stock (the box had a picture of it in it's original configuration, and a naming convention of SLR-101S), and it was converted to a highcap, and a normal stock put on it just like yours,  prior to sale in the US market.

Arsenal sold these guns as the "SLR-101".   The SAM-7 line came later historically, but was essentially the same as the SLR-101.

New milled receiver Arsenals (they have a small number of milled receivers) have a retail price of $1,599 right now. Truly a crazy price to ask, but milled receivers are very valuable compared to stamped and folded receiver guns.

I sold an Arsenal SAS-M7A1 (an under folder with a milled receiver) for $1,300 a few months back, within hours of putting it up for sale.  Could've probably asked for alot more.

I'm guessing you could EASILY sell that for $1,000.    I'd consider hanging onto it.  You won't find a better AK in the future.

Here's a pic of my SLR-101, and my SAS-M7A1 Underfolder.

I can't believe how much these rifles have appreciated in value.
Mine's a great shooter, and since I added the left handed sling mounts it's a go to rifle for me.
