I just order a Bulgarian AK74 Parts Kit with US made Barrel from Apex gun parts.
( Im a AK noob.) does the ak47 and 74 use the same lower? UPDATE: NoDak spud has a dealer close by. I have recieved my kit from apex. just thought you guys might wanna check it out.    virgin barrel

| If when you say lower, you mean the receiver, no. There are differences. ITM made a receiver that would fit both, but that's why the safety selector had a gap with the top cover when it was closed on the 47. Nodak Spud is the way to go, & they have specific receivers for each model. GARY N4KVE |
