I have a SLR 101S in 7.62x39 and would like to know what it is worth. It is not a safe queen and It has been shot. I also have a SA93 or 95 I believe as well. The 101S has the side rail and both AK's Receivers are Milled. Sorry I know very little about Ak's. Being as I have 2 in the 7.62x39 I'm looking at getting one in 5.56 and selling one of the 7.62x39's and would like to know what the value is so I can see what kind of 5.56 I will be able to get.
Thanks for any help. |

I don't have any experience with 5.56 Aks but I really like Arsenal rifles and seeing how you will keep one 7.62 I would get another in 5.56. What seems to be their most popular, and I have heard good things about, is the SLR 106F. If you go that route I would get the 106FR (Ban Style). However I personally have been eying the 107U with a triangular folder, its a krink style and in 7.62 but they make an accompanying one in 5.56, the SLR 106U.
Check out their site for the full Arsenal 5.56 collection I'd go for a milled one over 106 any day if you could but they are going to be rare |

Some of those SLR 106Us are still "In Production," the rest are not as it is Arsenal's thing to only produce a rifle for a certain amount of time. But the 106s are still fairly new and aren't all that hard to find. Gunbroker has several from time to time
This one from Gunbroker as of now would be your best bet as far as collectability and value, its rare to find one plus its milled like your others SA M-5 Some 106s CRs The ban version 106 FR |
