well i got my weiger mags today . the first one went through smooth. the next two had a couple of jams. i think the feed ramp needs some smoothing out. has anyone ever tried this? im gonna take my dremel tool and round off the sharp edges and polish it up a bit. any suggestions? i was thinking about selling this thing, but now i just wanna make it work.

One thing I would check is to make sure the feedramp (bullet guide in AK-speak) is installed properly.

The bullet guide is installed with a rivet through the top of it and down through the trunion. The top of the rivet is then ground down. I have seen many that looked like they were ground down almost to the point where I would question they would stay put over time.

If you look at the rivet and it looks ok, look also in the mag well and see that there is no clearance between the lower part of the trunion and the bullet guide itself (the bullet guide sits flush on the trunion). If the rivet failed or was improperly installed, and the bullet guide was set too high, then feed problems like you have might happen.

thanks ,yeah thats what its catching on , the guide.  now that i know the right name for it.  but its seems to be in there flush and solid. the lip of the case is catching on that guide. well i polished that guide up a bit. it had some rough edges. i got some winchester ammo instead of that steel case wolf to see if that would make a difference. we shall see! thanks for the help.
