| i picked this sar -3 up from this guy at the gun show. 300 bucks! it came with one brown plastic mag. its having problems feeding. the lip of the case is catching on the feed ramp. anyone else ever have this problem??? |
| brown plastic mag? he gave you a 5.45 mag, instead of the red east german modified 5.45 mag for .223. you will either have to modify the feed lips on that mag, which I'm sure there is a thread somewhere on one of these gun boards that will tell you how to do it. or buy a CENTURY modified mag, those will have the feed lips modified, and the top part is painted black, to denote a modifed mag. of course those allways are prone to FTF if you load them with more then 10-15 rounds, unless you change out the 5.45 follower to the ROBINSON ARMS .223 followers......or you could do what I did and buy the WEIGER mags, never had one problem with it. |
