Ok, so a month or two ago, I had a doubling problem with my AK ("stock" Century FCG with Red Star SAR-3 hammer). I ground the disconnector so that it would reach farther forward, but that turned out not the be the problem. It seems the trigger pull on this one is shorter than most. There's very little takeup before the trigger lets off. So, I bought another trigger (from CDNN). The hole for the pin is not the same size as the hole in my old trigger and disconnector! What gives? And what is this "trigger bushing" that I see being sold everywhere? Obviously its to make the pin fit the holds in the FCG, but why does it even exist as a part? Why not just make the holes the right size to begin with? Now I suppose I will have to replace the whole FCG at once...what a pain. -T |

Not sure about 'trigger bushing' but the revised Tapco/Gordon fcg has a sleeve that is intended to make it easier to drop in a new fcg. Once you spent 30ish on the RSA SAR3 hammer, you're halfway there to a full RSA set with full adjustability and no compatibility issues. I'd just go 'all in' and sell off the remaining parts. |

Not really what I meant. It's that the new trigger I bought has a hole larger than the pin that came with the gun. The original century trigger and disconnector, however, have a hole sized exactly right for the pin. I can see how this bushing would make it easier to install the trigger and disconnector, but they won't fit the ones I have. |
