I'm new to Ak's got a Sar1. Load the mag in the Ak cock it back, first round goes off, the second round cycles but doesn't shoot. It's not the mags or the ammo, I did not adjust the trigger. Yes I got the directions but don't fully understand them. Can somebody please help me? Thanks guys!

i adjust take up and over travel first, then set the disconnector set screw that determines  single or 2-stage set up and pull pressure.

i then double-check the pre and over travel settings and function test for diconnector reset.
