Took my m10 7.62 to the range and had a nice grouping, however it was quite low and a tad right.  This is the first time shooting this, ever, and i'm new to the ak platform.  I got the front sight tool in the mail after i got home from the range, so i was unable to sight it in today unfortunately.   It was a fun gun, 0 malfunctions with about 100 tula rounds.  Is this the same as an AR, twist the front sight clockwise (twisting it down) to bring my shots up?

I was shooting 25 yards with the rear sks type(i believe, has windage adjustment) sight touching the line at the one, the furthest down it would go.  No battle sight marking.

About how far should i move the front sight using the tool left or right to bring me to where i want to be so i can start off closer to on target the next time i go out?  How many twists per 1/4" of elevation?

just the ones low center/right.  that top one and the ones way low right were something else.  and its a generic walmart target, so i'm not sure if the marking are correct, and if one turn down equals 1U

It looks to me you need to turn the front sight screw down 1 1/4 turns & push the front sight pin .5mm to the right.

Always adjust your sight to what your shooting,,if to low then go down to much to the right then your pin goes right,, most peps thing the opposite.

i don't think i would be able to calculate .5mm, but it has an adjustable rear sight so i'll try moving that. Its on mechanical zero (centered) right now, so i'll try moving that a tad to the right (unless i have that backwards too).  the only other gun i sighted had an eotech :)

so i take it 1/4 turn is about 1 inch of travel at 25 yds?

and at 100 yds, 1/4 turn is 1/4 inch?
