I put an East German side folder from Browell's on an WASR 10/63 and the lever isn't working. There's no pressure on it and its sloppy. It feels like its missing a "spring".
I think the problem is that the trunion (?) on the WASR has been milled so that the lever arm of the sidefolder won't work against it. The picture tries to show what I'm talking about. 
If this isn't the problem, what is? I've searched the archive and google and haven't found anything. My brother's East German side folder on his WASR is the same way. ETA Fix |
